Mooloolaba Paddlers is a paddling group created for people who train and socialise together. The Mooloolaba Paddlers group is purely a paddling group setup for any one who loves paddling surf skis, and ocean skis on the Sunshine Coast.
Mooloolaba Paddlers group is purely a paddling group setup for anyone who loves paddling surf skis, and ocean skis on the Sunshine Coast. Simply just become a member and enjoy what we have to offer.
All our sessions are coached by full qualifided level one and level 2 surf coaches. We try and make our sessions so that everyone is apart of the group. Or you are buddy up with people at the same ability.
Our club memberships are kept low so to entice people outside of surf clubs 12 years and above to come and learn the art of paddling. Membership starts on the 1st of May each year.
Mooloolaba Paddlers hold Learn to paddle at request for $50. All equipment is supplied and lessons are held in the river next to Paddle Shed. Helping you fasttrack your paddling skills one on one.

Hi Fellow Paddlers,It’s that time of year again — The Annual Paddle Shop Island Paddle is happening on Saturday, 8th November! 🏝️This event plays a huge role in helping us keep membership and storage fees affordable, and with over 120 paddlers from around Australia expected, we’re calling on our amazing members to help make it another successful day.We’ll need volunteers for a range of tasks — everything from setup to timing and packing up. It’s been a fantastic year for Mooloolaba Paddlers — filled with great paddling sessions, successful events, and plenty of fun both on and off the water.To wrap up the season and plan for our future. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2025–26 season will be held after our regular paddling session on Saturday, 25th October, at the Paddle Shed — starting around 9:00 am.
