Hi Fellow Paddlers,

It’s that time of year again — The Annual Paddle Shop Island Paddle is happening on Saturday, 8th November! 🏝️

This event plays a huge role in helping us keep membership and storage fees affordable, and with over 120 paddlers from around Australia expected, we’re calling on our amazing members to help make it another successful day.

We’ll need volunteers for a range of tasks — everything from setup to timing and packing up. Many of our members will be racing and helping out once they finish, so any assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated.

We’re also seeking members with boats to assist with water safety from 10–12pm.

🔹 Volunteer Roles & Times

7:00am – Setup

• 4 x Beach Setup Crew — Dave O (Coordinator)

• 3 x Registration / Race Shirt Tent

8:30am

• 1 x IRB Boat Crew — Driver: Shane Dalziel

11:00am – Finish Area

• 2 x Timers — Buck (Coordinator)

• 1 x Race Tag Collection — Buck (Coordinator)

• 6 x Ski Collection & Pack-Up Crew

📍 Setup: from 7:00am
🚣‍♂️ First paddler expected: around 11:40am
