Hi fellow paddlers,

The Mooloolaba Paddlers Annual Nordic Kayaks Beach to Beach event is on this Saturday, and we’re gearing up for one of our biggest races yet.

This event is not only a highlight on our calendar but also a vital fundraiser that helps keep club membership and storage fees down. With over 200 paddlers from around Australia expected to compete, we’re calling on our amazing members to lend a hand and help make the day a success.

We know many of you will be racing and will jump in to help once you finish, but if you’re available to assist earlier, it would be greatly appreciated. Here’s what we need and who’s leading each team:

🔹 Start Line – Brad Martin’s team
🔹 Beach Setup Crew (5 people before race bus goes) – Dave O (Coordinator)
🔹 Ski Collection from Water’s Edge – Grubsy (Coordinator)
🔹 Timers (2 people) – Buck (Coordinator)
🔹 Race Tag Collection (2 person) – Buck (Coordinator)
🔹 Beach Pack up Crew (8 people) – Dave O (Coordinator)

Beach setup begins at 7:00am, and we’re expecting the first paddler to arrive around 11:40am.

The event wrap-up will be at Mooloolaba Surf Club at 2pm
