The Mooloolaba Paddlers Annual Nordic Kayaks Beach to Beach event is on Saturday 13th June, and we’re gearing up for one of our biggest races yet.

This event is not only a highlight on our paddling calendar, but also a vital fundraiser that helps keep our club membership and storage fees affordable. With more than 200 paddlers from around Australia expected to compete, we’re calling on our amazing members to lend a hand and help make the day a success.

We know many of you will be racing and will jump in to help once you finish, but if you’re available to assist earlier, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s what we need and who’s leading each area:

🔹 Start Line – Brad Martin’s Team
🔹 Beach Setup Crew (5 people before the race) 
🔹 Ski Collection from Water’s Edge
🔹 Timers (2 people) – Buck (Coordinator)
🔹 Race Tag Collection (2 people) – Buck (Coordinator)
🔹 Beach Pack-Up Crew (8 people) 

Beach setup begins at 7:00am, and we’re expecting the first paddlers to arrive around 11:40am.

The event wrap-up and presentations will be held upstairs at the Mooloolaba Surf Club from 2:00pm.
