HELPERS NEEDED – THE PADDLE SHOP ISLAND PADDLE!

Hi Fellow Paddlers,

Our annual Paddle Shop Island Paddle is fast approaching, and we're looking for some helping hands to make this another successful event.

We're expecting over 120 paddlers from around Australia to take part in this year's 16 km ocean paddle.

Events like this are important to our club and help us keep membership and craft storage fees affordable for everyone.

We need volunteers for the following roles:

7:00 AM – Beach Setup & Registration

• 4 helpers – Beach setup crew

• 3 helpers – Registration and race shirt tent

8:30 AM – IRB

• 1 helper – IRB boat crew

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Water Safety

• Members with boats who can assist with water safety during the race.

11:00 AM – Finish Area

• 2 helpers – Race timers (Buck coordinating)

• 1 helper – Race tag collection (Buck coordinating)

• 6 helpers – Ski collection and pack-up crew

The first paddler is expected to finish at approximately 11:40 AM.

CAN YOU SPARE A LITTLE TIME?

You don't need to be available all morning. Even helping out for an hour or two makes a huge difference.
