Volunteers Needed Saturday 10th Jun Beach to Beach
Hi fellow paddlers, it's that time of year where the Mooloolaba Paddlers holds the Annual Nordic Kayaks Beach to Beach.
This event helps us keep down the costs for our club membership and storage fees. This year we are looking at over 200 paddlers from around Australia competing, and we need your help to make this race another successful event. We will mainly need help with setup of the finish line, timing, giving out race shirt, and collection of skis from the waters edge.
We know a lot of our members will be racing and will help out when they finish. If you can help out on the day it would be much appreciated.
Below is a list of what is required and the co-ordinators of each area.
6 x Start line Brad Martin's team
8 x boat crew including drivers have already been selected (Glen Co-ordinator)
5 x Beach Setup Crew (Dave O co-ordinator)
6 x Ski collection from waters edge ( Grubsy Co-ordinator)
2 x Timers (Buck Co-ordinator)
1 x Race Tag collection (Buck Co-ordinator)
2 x Race Shirt Tent (Need Co-ordinator)
2 x general hands to help where needed.
Setup will be around 9.00am, first paddler will be expected around 11.40am.
If you can help out please email me at account@mooloolabapaddlers.com.or text me on 0422159504
Thanks everyone in advance.
Kind regards,
Buck
